"Do not be daunted by the enormity of the world's grief. Do justly now, love mercy now, walk humbly now. You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to abandon it.”
~The Talmud
Outreach & Community Engagement
Over the years, I’ve been deeply fortunate to teach in a wide range of communities and to share the joy and healing power of yoga and mindfulness practices with people from all walks of life. One thing that has always guided my work is the belief that these practices should be accessible to everyone—not just those who can afford a studio membership or class pass.
Yoga can be prohibitively expensive for many individuals and families, which is why I’ve worked hard to remove those financial barriers wherever possible. Through a combination of community donations, local partnerships, and generous grant support, I’ve been able to offer hundreds of free classes per year to individuals in our local community. These offerings have made it possible for people to experience the physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits of yoga without the burden of cost.
This work is not just about yoga—it’s about creating spaces of belonging, wellness, and resilience. I’m continuously moved by the stories people share after class: how a simple breath practice helped them through a hard day, how movement brought them back to themselves, or how sitting in stillness created a much-needed sense of peace.
My goal has always been to meet people where they are, and to hold space that supports both individual growth and community connection. I remain deeply committed to this work and to the principle that wellness, joy, and self-discovery should be available to everyone—not just those with financial means.
